Summary:
The CRC Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations, programming, and client engagement activities for ECDI's Contractor Resource Center (CRC) in the Greater Cincinnati market. Working under the direction of the Director, Contractor Resource Center, this position supports the expansion of CRC programming by coordinating workshops, client intake, technical assistance, strategic partnerships, networking opportunities, and access to capital for construction-related small businesses.
The CRC Program Coordinator serves as ECDI's primary Contractor Resource Center representative in the Greater Cincinnati market, coordinating program operations, client engagement, technical assistance, and strategic partnerships under the direction of the Director, Contractor Resource Center.
The CRC Program Coordinator plays an essential role in advancing ECDI's mission by helping construction entrepreneurs access education, technical assistance, capital, procurement opportunities, and industry connections needed to successfully compete for larger contracts and grow sustainable businesses.

The starting annual salary range for this position is $50,000-$58,000.
Candidates for this position must be located in the Cincinnati Area. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Program Operations
  • Coordinate daily operations of the Contractor Resource Center within the Cincinnati market.
  • Coordinate client intake, onboarding, scheduling, and documentation within Salesforce.
  • Maintain accurate client records and program data.
  • Coordinate and facilitate monthly workshops, webinars, educational programming, networking events, and contractor development initiatives aligned with CRC strategic objectives.
Client Services
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CRC participants.
  • Coordinate one-on-one coaching appointments with CRC staff.
  • Assist construction-related businesses with accessing technical assistance.
  • Connect clients with ECDI lending products and Relationship Managers for capital readiness.
  • Assist clients in identifying educational resources and procurement opportunities.
  • Provide one-on-one technical assistance to commercial and housing-focused subcontractors while connecting clients with CRC staff and ECDI subject matter experts.
  • Assist commercial and housing-focused subcontractors in accessing business education, technical assistance, financing, procurement opportunities, and strategic partnerships that support long-term business growth.
  • Coordinate technical assistance and educational programming that prepares contractors to compete for procurement opportunities, submit competitive bids, and successfully manage awarded contracts.
Partnership Development
  • Coordinate relationships with community organizations, construction partners, municipalities, trade associations, and economic development organizations.
  • Support and maintain partnerships with key regional stakeholders and funding partners, including the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority, Habitat for Humanity, MBAC, ODOT, Turner Construction, and other organizations supporting the growth and success of CRC Cincinnati.
  • Develop, maintain, and expand strategic partnerships with municipalities, developers, contractors, workforce organizations, business support organizations, trade associations, and community stakeholders to strengthen CRC programming throughout Greater Cincinnati.
  • Represent ECDI at community meetings, industry events, and partner engagements to strengthen CRC visibility throughout Greater Cincinnati.
Program Growth
  • Assist the Director in expanding CRC programming throughout Greater Cincinnati.
  • Coordinate outreach activities that increase participation from construction-related small businesses.
  • Support recruitment for workshops and educational programs.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies that increase awareness and participation in CRC programming throughout Greater Cincinnati.
  • Support recruitment efforts for workshops, technical assistance, networking events, and contractor development initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand CRC programming based on community needs, industry trends, and partner feedback.
Grant Administration
  • Maintain participant data and performance metrics.
  • Assist with grant reporting requirements.
  • Track and maintain program performance metrics including:
    • clients served
    • contracts bid
    • contracts awarded
    • capital accessed
    • business growth milestones
    • strategic partnerships developed
    • revenue growth (when applicable)
    • demographic and program participation data
    • other grant performance indicators
  • Collect, maintain, and report client demographic, business, and program outcome data required for grant compliance.
  • Assist with interim and final grant reporting by maintaining accurate documentation and supporting performance measurement activities.
  • Assist in collecting client surveys and outcome data for grant reporting.
  • Ensure program activities and documentation comply with grant requirements, organizational policies, and reporting expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Economic Development, Public Administration, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in program coordination, workforce development, economic development, construction industry support, small business assistance, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • Experience working with entrepreneurs or small businesses preferred.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, or educational programming preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred.

Special Requirements
  • Position is based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of three (3) days in the office.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation required.
  • Regular travel throughout Greater Cincinnati and surrounding counties to meet with clients and community partners.
  • Occasional travel throughout Ohio for meetings and training.
  • Occasional evening and weekend events.
